Parent Email Information

Short Summary/To Verify That Your Email is on a Parent Distribution List :

1. Go to the Information Screen for your child's high school graduation year and school. Click here to get the link you need. or Get the link for your child's teaching team, advisory or project list.
2. Go to the Subscribing section of the Information Screen.  1) Enter your email, 2) enter your name, and 3) click on the Subscribe button.
3. Go to your email program.  If you receive a PRIVACY ALERT email you are on the list!  If you receive a CONFIRM email you are not on the list.

Go to the information screen for the list in question.

Go to the Subscribing section.

1) Enter your email, 2) enter your name, and 3) click on the Subscribe button.

Some email systems differentiate between capital and lower case letters. Make sure you enter your email address exactly as it would be recognizable by your email provider.

You will see a results screen.

If you are on the list, you will receive a Mailman PRIVACY ALERT email.
(Click here, if you receive a CONFIRM email.)
(In this example the parent is using Entourage as their email program. Parents not using this program will have different displays but the concept is the same!)

Open that message.

The message lets you know the email is on the list.

If you are not on the list, You will receive a CONFIRM email.
If you want to be on the list, follow the directions for adding yourself to the list. 

1. Open the CONFIRM email.  Without writing anything, click to REPLY to that email.
2. You will receive a RESULTS email confirming that your request has been acted on.

 

Remember: 

To receive updates from the school, you need to have at least one email address on each of your child's grade/school list. The Parent lists are used by the school and the Parent Association to send information to parents.  The information will include: reminders for events, deadlines, time changes, information on parking, fundraisers and social events.
