Thank you to High Tech High Village families that participated in Liberty Station for Education Day. It was a day of excitement and fun! The Point Loma community and HTH families came out and shopped, dined and explored “the village” and were delighted to find that there were so many unique, fun and tasty venues in Liberty Station. This was the first event of its kind in Liberty Station and the businesses were very pleased with the turnout and support from our families and community. We are happy to announce that we raised $7,871 which will be disbursed evenly between the six village schools. $730 came directly from the sale of raffle tickets. Our Art Show and auction raised $1,000 and we want to extend a very special thank you to the students that provided wonderful art work for this event.
We encourage families to continue supporting those businesses that have given generously to our schools and to thank them on your next visit.
The premier sponsor of our event was Starbucks who generously donated $3,000.
A special thank you goes out to KidZui, Internet for Kids, Oggi’s Pizza & Brewery and Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza for their very generous donations of more than $500.
